About the Role

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will revolve around developing, programming, designing, and maintaining all of our company’s websites, with the possibility of crafting new ones as needed.

Your Skill Set

• As a programmer, you’ll need a solid grasp of languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, or libraries like jQuery is a plus.
• Understanding fundamental web design principles, including user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, is crucial. This includes creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs.
• Ability to create websites that seamlessly adapt to various devices and screen sizes, employing techniques like CSS media queries.
• Experience with popular e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc., and the ability to customize and develop online stores on these platforms.
• Proficiency in working with databases and content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, etc., to effectively store and manage website and online store content.
• Awareness of web security best practices, including safeguarding against threats like XSS, SQL injection, and ensuring secure online transactions through HTTPS.
• Understanding basic SEO principles and optimizing websites and online stores to enhance visibility on search engines and drive organic traffic.
• Capability to integrate payment gateways like PayPal, Stripe, Bankful, Swish, etc., and inventory management systems to efficiently handle online transactions and product inventory.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to stay abreast of evolving technologies and techniques in this fast-paced industry.
